Critical Reading Course
Exploring the Classics: Analyzing Literature
Grades 6 - 8
Regular Class Size (1:12)
Students will read complex and nuanced novels that have stood the test of time. We will examine the thematic content and messages of these texts, which include issues of free-will, justice, and individualization. In doing so, students will also learn how to read and analyze work of literature that contains advanced writing and syntax. An analytical essay will be assigned and written upon completion of the first novel.
The tentative novels for this session are:
Finish the first book: Frankenstein before the first class.
Submit homework on time. Late assignments will not receive instructor comments or feedback.

**Additional 1v1 sessions available with our writing experts to polish the essay.
